Domestic Violence Awareness Month - Giving Voice to Screams Without Sound and Purple Light Night

Join us October 17th to experience the Silent Witness Display of Shelby County and honor both those who have lost their lives to domestic violence as well as those who are struggling to find the courage to end the abuse in their lives.
Also display a purple light outside your house on the night of October 17th to show your support for your family, friends and neighbors who may be living in fear in their own homes - show them their not alone and send a message that you also believe that home should never be a scary or violent place.
To get a purple light, contact New Choices at 937-498-7261 or visit the Halloween section of your local store and purchase a blacklight bulb or two, replace them in our outdoor lights and SHINE YOUR PURPLE!
