Prevention
At New Choices, we believe that the only way to truly impact victims/survivors of domestic violence is to educate relentlessly. Not just about what domestic violence is and what can be done about it but about the realities of victim/survivors experience. It is our hope that by humanizing the picture of an abusive situation we can lessen the judgment and stigma many victim/survivors face in their communities and amongst their peers, which only worsens an already miserable experience.
